Staff reporter : On Friday afternoon, at the house of late Haji Monir Ahmad S.W. in Khilmurari village of Zorarganj Union of Mirsarai Upazila of Chittagong district, blankets and prayer prayers were distributed to the cold people on the initiative of Mohammad Sahab Uddin, chief advisor of the regional online portal Mirsarai Barta and Presbd.com portal. Md. Abdul Rahim Tuhin, Organizing Secretary of Bariyarhat Municipality Youth Dal, distributed these blankets and prayer prayers to the local needy people on behalf of Md. Sahab Uddin, Chief Advisor of the newspaper, under the overall supervision of Mirsarai Barta and Pressbd Chief Editor Mithun Das and Co-Editor Belayet Hossain Chowdhury. These winter clothes were distributed among 50 people including 35 distressed women and 15 men. In this regard, Mohammad Sahab Uddin, the chief adviser of the newspaper, said, "Due to the recent cold weather in the country, these winter clothes are distributed to provide humanitarian assistance to low-income people. In the future, these winter clothes will be distributed to more marginalized people and street children. Also, next week, I Free eye services and Sunnat Khatna will be organized for the local needy people".
